CULTURE STOCK!!!!!!!!!

Paul states: ( 1 Cor: 6:9-10)

Do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom if God?
Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adultery nor men who have sex with
Men [homosexual offenders] nor thieves nor the greedy nor dunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers
Will inherit the kingdom of God.

Explanation:

What the apostle Paul does, the bible does.  There is a bar of righteousness for our good,
And for our welfare, to provide for us and protect us.  But that bar of righteousness is covered in the velvet kindness of his love and compassion.

Paul is saying, "look.  The bar doesn't change.  Sin is an equal opportunity condemner.  We
Are all equally in need of a savior!"

Considering this passage, I wonder what would happen if instead of highlighting homosexuality as being "the most terrible sin someone could ever get involved in," we just made fornicators
The worst sinners.  Or people who have been divorced.  Or how about some of us idolaters?  If you worship work, or worship money, or worship your kids, God says that idolatry.  What about gluttons or adulterers? What about people who log on to porn sites?

The apostle Paul is saying all of these things, "Guess what!  Those are all in the same category.
Those things will harm you, bring death to you.  They crush your soul, alienate you from God,
Alienate you from yourself, bring death into your relationships and into your body.

As followers of Jesus, we cannot ignore the overwhelming evidence that God condemns the practice
Of homosexuality.  But it is just as important for us to recognize that God equally condemns many
Other sins, including immoral hetersexual practices.  God no more condemns the gay person than He does those who have sex outside of marriage, lust with their eyes,  are greedy in their consumption, or swindle in their business.
